PocketNotepad,
a simple text editor for Windows Mobile devices has fixed its problem introduced in ver 5.0, and its version has been updated to ver 5.2.
The problem was that PocketNotepad falsely recognized Windows Mobile devices as old Handheld PC devices under certain conditions.
This false recognition brought several problems, for example, it could execute multiple instances and it could not retain unsaved texts when it was closed by a task manager.

other In addition to the software programs which were announced on Sep 28, development activities for ProgramMenu, ProgramMenuPlus and SoftwareActionControl have been frozen. The reasons for the freeze are as follows: ProgramMenu and ProgramMenuPlus can be completely replaced by SmallMenuPlus. And SoftwareActionControl is not able to follow up a variety of Hardware buttons in the market. Registration codes for ProgramMenuPlus and SoftwareActionControl will not be delivered after Dec 30, 2009, so that, please purchase the software before the date if you accept that the software programs will not be updated in the future and want to continue to use the programs. You are still able to download the old versions from Obsolete pages section for the time being. PocketNotepad 5.1 released 11/2

PocketNotepad,

has brought back its file size restriction,
and its version has been updated to ver 5.1.
It has been confirmed that this version works fine with Windows Phone 6.5 emulators.
I have built with Visual Studio 2005 from this version instead of eMbedded Visual Tools 3.0.
In addition, I combined English and Japanese installers into one.

Some software developments have been frozen 9/28other Development activities have been frozen for some software which are not used frequently these days. The software include: ProgramMenu Toys, SmallTweak, SpaceLeft and Software for Pocket Manager. Tillanosoft will continue software developments just for Windows Mobile 5 and later including Classic/Standard/Professional devices. That is, Tillanosoft will no longer develop software for Windows CE Handheld PC devices. You are still able to download the old versions from Obsolete pages section for the time being.
